Today we went to the Chicago temple. It's about 2 1/2 hours from us, so our ward rented a big bus for the trip. Dallin loved the ride. He just wanted to look out the window the whole time. He hardly slept there or back because there was so much to distract him. All the kids were left at a nearby church building to be babysat while the adults went to the temple. Neither of us had been to this temple before so it was a fun new experience. We're excited that we will get to go to this temple many more times in the next few years. It's a really beautiful place.

I remember going to the Chicago Temple to do baptisms when I a youth. I went back during a business trip and did a session. It's a nice temple, but definitely smaller than what I'm used to.
